I have been drawing as long as I can remember, being totally enchanted by what I see. My art is rather eclectic but from the very beginning of my memories I loved drawing trees. They are so organic, each one as different as the next. They live long, history is recorded in their trunks, branches, and roots. I try to capture that essence in my drawings. Pencils are my favorite medium of expression, there is so much one can do with line. I started drawing with an interesting technique with what I call energy drawing in the early 80s to break from an creative block. Energy drawing is intuitive drawing, scribbling if you will. A lot of pencil lines on smooth bristol and some interesting images began to appear which quickly became recognizable...
