Description
A drawing I did outdoors in western Pennsylvania while looking at and listening to rustling leaves at a grove of poplar trees. The energetic scribbles and shading suggest movement and a certain rawness, while the anatomy of the creature emerges from the chaos of the pencil work. The lines remind me of a Burchfield painting.
This drawing won a judges choice award at a Sci-Fi art show in 1998.
